I really loved everything about this hotel. Fun little town with some cool history, nice rooms, really good if you want a whole family to go. Themed rooms make it fun. I personally loved the bed. I loved that the saloon is part of the hotel. I also really loved that the sham./con. & soap they provided were scent free, which is super nice for some people. Dog friendly
For the rumor of it being haunted, I can personally say it is. Its a huge attraction. Their rooms are excellent and the customer service is even better. You come in a stranger and leave practically family.

Hands down the best hotel I have ever stayed at. The bartender/innkeeper was really sweet and a great conversationalist. The rooms were amazing; each one has a theme. My friend and I stayed in the Victorian Suite and the decor was lovely. I can tell a lot of love has been put into this place. Next time I'm in Pioche I will definitely return.
Boot Hill cemetery was interesting. Thought it was cool there was only one woman buried there and her head stone was opposite the direction of the men.
Gotta love this place , if you wanna experience a touch of old wild west definitely the place to stay , the bartenders are cute , friendly , and the local patrons will kick up a conversation about the town . The room is clean and have intresting themes , Google it and pic your favorite . Rooms are little pricey but worth it.
Walking into the Overland was like taking a step back in time right down to the adorable hostess that checked us in on Halloween night dressed as old fashioned saloon girl. We were there to take our teenagers ghost hunting in the famous haunted room 10. We didn't experience anything malicious. We did get some pretty high readings in the room, had some experiences with doors that had been shut being opened, and made some cool and fun memories with our daughters.
The room we stayed in hadn't been remodeled but the themed rooms we saw looked very nice. Overall a great place to stay for a little history and ghost hunting ☺️
The town is full of cool history. The guide Nikki at the museum was absolutely amazing and brought the history of the old town to life. It's really worth taking a look inside. From beautiful artwork to glowing rocks!
